Air leak standard recalibration is an essential process to ensure accurate and reliable leak testing results. Regular recalibration is crucial for maintaining test accuracy. Depending on your testing instruments and types of parts, manufacturers may choose to recalibrate their instruments annually or biennially.

Process and Timeframe

LeakMaster provides in-house recertification services for all our leak standards as well as other manufacturers’ calibrated leaks. Recalibration of air flow leak standards typically takes 1-2 weeks once received in the LeakMaster lab. This process involves checking the leak standard and providing a certification of calibration with current readings.
