LeakMaster's Metered Volume Testing is a unique form of testing that is used primarily for a product that does not have a passage to introduce air into the part. Metered Volume utilizes a reference volume of pressurized air or vacuum that is applied to test the part. A part is given a specific amount of air which is either applied or evacuated from a chamber. The residual rise or decay from the chamber of the part becomes the calculated leakage for that part. LeakMaster specializes in leak test mapping to determine pass/fail criteria for this type of method.
